Less than a month after Justin Timberlake said his drunk driving arrest in the Hamptons, New York, would “ruin the tour,” he’s opening a new liquor store in St. Andrews, Scotland. The singer has teamed up with golf legend and 2017 DWI arrestee Tiger Woods to expand their popular New York City sports bar, the upscale T-Squared Social. Known as the “home of golf,” St. Andrews draws tourists who flock to its longstanding and exclusive courses. The duo’s announcement comes after Timberlake’s June 18 arrest, when he failed both a sobriety test and a breathalyzer test. He is fighting the charges but acknowledged he had a “rough week” while performing in Chicago days later. According to Billboard , the new upscale bar will be an “experience” filled with a variety of “cinemas, restaurants and entertainment options,” including bowling, darts and sports simulators. Construction on the duo’s new project will begin in less than three years and the bar is expected to create 40-45 new jobs.
